History of the Leader Bank Pavilion
Originally built as part of the Central Wharf development in the early 1990s, the Leader Bank Pavilion was designed to be a concert venue with exceptional acoustics and a beautiful waterfront location. It was initially named the FleetBoston Pavilion after its primary sponsor at the time.
In 2002, the venue underwent a name change to Harbor Lights Pavilion when Bank of Boston merged with FleetBoston Financial. It was renamed again in 2014 when Blue Hills Bank became the new sponsor.
